The Full Story

Hello!

My name is Darrell, I am a student at National University pursuing a Masters in Health Informatics. I am a United States Navy veteran that served for eight years as a Hospital Corpsman. During my service I was deployed to Afghanistan, Africa, and other parts of the middle east. I enjoyed my time serving my country, but I knew I wanted to do more for myself. After leaving military service, I started to attend National University in pursuit of a Bachelors in Public Health. During my studies I learned about the field of Health Informatics and health technology. Right then and there I knew this was the field I wanted to be part of. In 2018, I completed my bachelors degree and rolled right in to pursuing my Masters in Health Inofrmatics. One day I hope to be part of a large hospital organization in my hometown of San Diego, working as an Health Informatics Nurse.

In the loop: Health Technology is a project I have created to talk about new innovations and my thoughts about things happening in the world of Healthcare Technology. So if you have time, feel free to look around and see what I have jotted down. Thank you for visiting my site, enjoy!
